Bogotà: “Social Unidad” Centre
For thirty years the the Focolari have been involved in La Merced, one of the poorest districts on the periphery of Bogotà. They offer child support for boys and girls, assistance to mothers, a health centre and many other servicesl. Amid joys and sufferings this small slice of society has been growing in the light of the Gospel.
Ecumenism: the dialogue of life
Chiara Lubich visited the United Kingdom 8 times, from 1965 to 2004. These visits marked a great development in ecumenical dialogue. Now we will go back to 1996, in London, where Chiara vigorously explained the meaning of the “dialogue of life.”

From the 3rd to 8th November, the President of the Focolare, Maria Voce, and co-President Giancarlo Faletti, are visiting Holland where the Movement is holding its 50th anniversary celebrations together with the communities of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.
